Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a highly detail-oriented assembler/rework technician for our Minnesota facility. You will perform board repairs, hand soldering, and on-line rework while following process instructions and safety protocols to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work, collecting parts, updating the production system, and maintaining proper documentation. A high school diploma and certifications in soldering and PCBA rework are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hand solder certification required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• PCBA Rework/Repair Certification Checklist required.
• General Production Procedures training completed.
• PCBA Inspection Certification (except AXI/AVI) desired.
• Able to read and understand process instructions and drawings.
• Work independently and in a team; good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine production priority based on guidelines and route boards accordingly.
• Locate and collect parts and materials for current job using part numbers.
• Perform repairs on boards per procedure and route to next operation.
• Perform on-line rework/repair duties as needed and document work.
• Enter board quantities into the tracking system and complete paperwork.
