Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; hand solder certification required
• Must read, write and perform basic math functions
• PCBA Rework/Repair Certification Checklist
• Ability to read and understand process instructions, schematic drawings and manufacturing routings
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Determines priority of products based on production guidelines
• Locates and collects parts for current job by cross referencing part numbers
• Performs repairs on boards per procedure and routes to next operation
• Performs on-line rework/repair duties as necessary
• Performs hand solder operations on assemblies and inspects rework/repairs
• Enters board quantities into tracking system
• Maintains clean work area and follows safety/ESD practices
• Works with solder pot to replace damaged components
• Performs de-solder operations as needed
• Obtains paperwork and drawings with correct effective date
