Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc in Winona, MN is seeking a safety-sensitive Rework/Repair Technician to perform detailed and routine repair operations on PCB assemblies. You will route boards to the next operation and perform on-line rework using hand soldering and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, maintaining records, and rotating between rework and line positions. A high school diploma and PCBA certifications are required, with on-site duties and safety protocols in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hand solder certification required.
• PCBA Rework/Repair Certification Checklist.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience preferred.
• General Production Procedures Training.
• PCBA Inspection Certification (except AXI/AVI).
• Read and understand process instructions, drawings and routings.

Responsibilities

• Determines which product takes priority based on production guidelines.
• Locates and collects parts and materials for current job by cross referencing part numbers.
• Performs repairs on boards per procedure and routes to next operation.
• Performs on-line rework/repair duties as necessary.
• Performs hand solder operations on assemblies and inspects rework/repairs.
• Enters board quantities into automated system for rework operations.
• Maintains clean work area and follows safety and ESD practices.
• Rotates between rework and line positions as needed.
