Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer (PCB/PCBA) in Hawthorne, CA. You will drive NPI for parts and assemblies, qualify suppliers, and manage ramp‑to‑production while reducing risk and improving manufacturability.

You’ll collaborate with design, R&D, and procurement to resolve complex manufacturing and quality challenges, applying IPC standards and lean methods to meet SpaceX’s ambitious Starship program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience with manufacturing or process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical point of contact for parts and assemblies; mitigate risk.
• Own NPI of new parts and assemblies on the rocket; ramp manufacturing to rate.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, supply chain, reliability, and production teams.
• Analyze production data to improve manufacturability and lead times.
• Lead containment and root-cause analysis with suppliers and SpaceX.
• Drive supplier qualifications and onboarding efforts; audits.
