Job summary

PeerStar LLC is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to provide hopeful, empathetic support for individuals facing mental health challenges. You’ll use your lived experience to offer understanding, encouragement, and practical guidance, helping peers build confidence and pathways to recovery.

Qualifications

• Active CPS certification required.
• Must attest to mental health diagnosis and recovery readiness.
• 18+ years old.
• 6 months of consecutive work or 12 months within last 3 years of paid or volunteer experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
