Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to support individuals on their recovery journey through meaningful 1:1 peer support. You will use your lived experience to inspire hope, promote empowerment, and help others achieve personal growth in a community-based setting.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Applicants must have an active CPS certification through the PCB, be 18+, and demonstrate reliable transportation and documentation skills via an iPad.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CPS certification through the PCB.
• Must attest to having a mental health diagnosis and recovery readiness.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR 12 months in the last 3 years.
• Ability to use an iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
