Job summary

Assisted Living Services, Inc is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to support clients with Activities of Daily Living in home care. Roles include assisting with hygiene, meals, mobility, and companionship in a full-time schedule with flexible shifts.

Pay ranges from $16.94 to $22.00 per hour with benefits such as 401K, bonuses, health coverage, direct deposit, weekly pay, sick time, and training programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in home care or healthcare setting.
• Willingness to comply with all legal and institutional requirements.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Car insurance required.
• Preferred availability Sunday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic domestic services (e.g. meal prep, laundry, light housework).
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client.
• Assist with mobility issues (getting in/out of bed, wheelchair, etc.).
• Remind client to take medications.
• Assist with personal hygiene (brush teeth, toileting, bathing).
• Change bed linens regularly.
• Assist with all daily activities based on client needs.
• Provide a caring and positive presence; respond promptly in emergencies.

We are currently seeking compassionate, highly skilled, and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to care for our Clients and to serve as part of our growing home care team. This is a full time role in which we prefer the following availabilitySunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am but hours can be flexible.

Our Personal Care Assistants (PCA) provide our clients with assistance in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). We hire caregivers that have received specialized training through CNA, HHA, PCA programs. In this demanding but highly rewarding role, you will work with our clients to support their physical or mental challenges in their everyday lives so they can remain in their homes. You will focus on helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, according to their requirements and limitations. You will provide compassionate care and assistance and document client progress, either written, electronically or verbally, to help ensure their overall well-being.

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Preferred availability Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am but hours can be flexible
• Bilingual in Spanish and English Preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a home care or healthcare setting
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
• Car Insurance (Required)
• Willingness to comply with all legal and institutional requirements and guidelines
