Baptist Health is seeking a PBX Operator for the third shift to act as the central communication hub for the hospital. You will answer and direct calls, greet visitors, monitor emergency lines, and process work orders with accuracy and professionalism.

Summary Job Description

PBX Operator Full-Time, Third Shift PBX (Switchboard) The PBX/Switchboard Department serves as the hospital's central communication hub, providing 24/7 support for patients, visitors, and staff. The team manages incoming calls, emergency communications, overhead paging, and critical notifications while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely, accurate communication across the organization. Provide exceptional customer service by answering and directing incoming calls, assisting patients and visitors, monitoring emergency phones and alarm systems, and processing work orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure timely communication of critical information while serving as a professional point of contact for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
