Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time PBX switchboard/operator in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. You will manage high-volume calls, respond to codes and alerts, and document events accurately while supporting hospital communications and staff training.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Applicants should be flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year PBX switchboard, call center, or customer service experience in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred.

Job Description:

• Other duties as assigned. Answers and transfers incoming calls promptly and accurately.
• Responds quickly and accurately to all codes, alerts, drills, and testing. Documents all event details in a timely and accurate manner.
