Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a PBM Product & Platform Engineering Director to lead a Software Engineering team delivering healthcare technology for patients, members, and customers, as part of the New PBM Platform. You will translate roadmaps into executable plans and drive production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent related experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive software engineering or technology experience, including significant people-management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale application, platform, or product engineering teams.
• Proven record of delivering complex technology capabilities from strategy and design through production operations.

Responsibilities

• Translate the New PBM Platform roadmap, architecture, and product priorities into executable engineering plans for the assigned domain.
• Lead design, development, integration, release, and production-readiness activities with clear commitments and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure solutions meet functional, performance, scalability, reliability, recovery, security, privacy, and compliance expectations.
• Establish metrics for delivery predictability, throughput, quality, reliability, technical health, and operational performance.
