Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a PBS Engineering Managing Director to own the engineering model and delivery for New PBM Platform integration and modernization across the PBS engineering organization.

You will drive engineering strategy, governance, and cross-functional alignment with technology, product, operations, and client teams to ensure seamless migrations, production readiness, and ongoing support for both new and legacy environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the engineering model for code, repositories, environments, pipelines, automation, testing, and release governance across the estate.
• Lead the integration and modernization of retained legacy capabilities with New PBM Platform, including migration waves and cutover readiness.
• Establish standards, governance, scorecards, and executive reporting for delivery health, risk, and operational performance.
• Build and lead an engineering organization spanning delivery, planning, testing, migration, and business operations support.
• Advise executive leadership on strategic direction, investments, and readiness for client migrations across federated technology teams.
