Job summary

Community Unit School District 300 is hiring for a PBIS Coordinator to support Tier II interventions and the building’s PBIS initiatives. The role requires coordinating with district PBIS coaches, data review, and direct collaboration with school staff to implement behavior supports.

The position focuses on data-driven decision making, maintaining the Tier 2 action plan, and fostering alignment between classroom practices and district expectations. Full-time presence in the building is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of school-wide PBIS systems at all three Tiers.
• Familiar with the building school improvement process related to developing the whole child.
• Attend monthly district PBIS meetings and coaching meetings as needed.
• Promotes shared decision making and can facilitate team meetings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with faculty and staff.
• Works in the building full time.

Responsibilities

• Review Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) to create an action plan.
• Form a Secondary Systems Team and communicate status of Tier 2 implementation.
• Meet monthly to review student data and qualify for Tier 2 interventions.
• Monitor progress and track Tier 2 interventions (CICO, SAIG, Mentoring).
• Input CICO data and review regularly (Google Sheet).
• Complete Tier 2 Tracking Tool.
• Serve as Site Admin for DESSA or similar screening/monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with Social Worker/Psychologist for Tier 2/3 students.
