Job summary

Mansfield City Schools is seeking a PBIS Building Team Member to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the PBIS framework within our schools. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive school climate, use data to inform behavioral practices, and help build staff capacity to support student behavior in proactive and equitable ways.

Reports to the Building Principal and District PBIS Coordinator or designee.

Qualifications

• Current staff member (teacher, counselor, administrator, paraprofessional, or support staff).
• Familiarity with school-wide expectations and basic behavioral support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Attend PBIS team meetings and participate in planning/decision-making.
• Assist in defining, teaching, and reinforcing school-wide behavioral expectations.
• Help develop Tier 1 universal supports and acknowledgment systems.
• Analyze school behavior data to identify trends and needs.
• Support PBIS communications, trainings, and materials for staff, students, families.
• Model PBIS practices and serve as a peer resource or coach to staff.
• Collaborate on Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions with counselors or specialists.
• Participate in fidelity checks using tools like the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI).
• Promote equity and inclusiveness in PBIS strategies and activities.
• Advocate for student voice and integrate student perspectives into PBIS practices.
• Assist with Building PBIS recognition application submission.
