Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a payroll/timekeeping specialist to support the General Manager and Distribution Center. The role focuses on Kronos timekeeping, shifts, incentive payments, and payroll adjustments while partnering with managers to manage attendance.

Responsibilities include maintaining timecards, resolving payroll issues, running Kronos and labor reports, and training other timekeepers. A High School Diploma and 2–4 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of previous related experience.
• Working knowledge of Wage and Hour laws.
• Previous experience with Kronos timekeeping, preferably in a Union environment.
• Good math skills and figures aptitude.
• Understanding of accounting payroll principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Timekeeping: maintain associate timecards and resolve routine payroll problems.
• Attendace: monitor hourly attendance and update attendance systems.
• General payroll support: run Kronos reports and payroll-related analyses.
• Administrative: train other timekeepers and manage payroll-related documentation.
• Other duties: assist with payroll policy compliance and filing with HR.
