Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in payroll systems, HRIS, workforce management, payroll technology, or related enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience configuring, administering, troubleshooting, or implementing enterprise payroll or workforce management platforms.
• Proven success leading complex incident diagnosis and technical decision-making across applications and data.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll, including U.S. and Canadian payroll requirements.
• Experience managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, and delivery priorities.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical health and multiyear roadmap for payroll and workforce management apps.
• Set technology strategy, investments, and modernization to improve reliability and UX.
• Lead incident diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
• Guide adoption of automation, observability, and data-driven decision making.
• Lead payroll tech implementations, releases, and go-lives with stakeholder alignment.
• Mentor payroll technology resources and build durable internal capability.
