Job summary

Global Technical Talent seeks a Director, Payroll Applications & Technology in Culver City, CA. Hybrid onsite role to own strategy, reliability, and modernization of payroll apps including Infor WFM and UKG Payroll. Lead technical teams, govern delivery, and manage vendor partnerships for a compliant, scalable payroll ecosystem.

You will drive automation, observability, and data-driven decisions while coordinating with security, finance, HR IT, and operations across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive payroll technology/HRIS experience with leadership accountability.
• Experience configuring and implementing enterprise payroll/workforce platforms.
• Strong incident diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and decision-making.
• End-to-end payroll knowledge for US/Canada including Hours-to-Gross and Gross-to-Net.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical health, roadmap, and governance for payroll applications.
• Lead senior teams, manage vendor partnerships, and drive automation.
• Deliver concise executive updates on health, priorities, and risks.
• Ensure SOX, security, and audit controls across payroll technology.
