Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Payroll Systems & Portfolio Management to lead a portfolio of payroll initiatives from intake to closeout. You will define scope, deliverables, milestones, and success metrics while guiding cross-functional teams to measurable outcomes.

Work with Payroll Operations, IT, HRIS, Finance, and vendors to ensure governance, decisions, and alignment. Apply UKG and other HCM knowledge to translate needs into actionable requirements and drive

Qualifications

5+ years of project or program management, incl. payroll or HCM projects.
Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation.
Facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to establish governance and communicate with executives.
Experience coordinating testing, readiness, cutover, stabilization, and transition.
Working knowledge of payroll operations and HCM platforms (UKG Pro, Workday, Infor WFM).
Proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, Teams, SharePoint, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Own a portfolio of payroll projects from intake through closeout.
Develop integrated plans defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and success measures.
Drive RAID and decision logs, change control, and escalation management.
Maintain the portfolio roadmap and prioritize by value, risk, and readiness.
Lead discovery, gather and prioritize business, functional, data, and integration requirements.
