Intuit seeks a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert for SelectTime services. You will resolve complex payroll tax issues, govern SOPs, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement. This role emphasizes ownership, compliance, and cross-state tax mastery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will oversee escalations, authoritative guidance on tax processing, and contribute to risk-informed decision making in a flexible, remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with focus on complex tax defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Experience as a lead, senior specialist, or SME with coaching or mentoring junior staff.
• Advanced writing skills to author/approve SOPs and technical documents for tax processors.
• Strong ownership of SLAs, red flags, and workflow barriers before impact.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary real-time technical expert for TP1/TP2/TP3 staff and teach resolution paths.
• Authorize and review SOPs and KB articles with formal approval.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions to close skill gaps.
• Lead team huddles, QA sessions, and daily stand-ups when needed.
• Oversee WIP, backlog, and aging reports; advocate staffing adjustments.
• Resolve severe state and federal payroll tax notices and amendments.
