Job summary

PHOENIX Retail, LLC, operating Express and Bonobos, seeks a Manager of Payroll Operations and Systems in Columbus Corporate Headquarters to manage payroll processing through ADP and Dayforce, ensure accurate tax withholdings, and oversee off-cycle disbursements while coordinating with HR, finance and IT.

Qualifications

• 7+ years payroll and accounting experience with at least 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, compensation and benefits, and federal, state and local payroll taxes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processes and proper vendor accountability.
• Oversee filing of federal, state and local employment taxes and W-2 distributions.
• Maintain controls and documentation for payroll processes.
• Monitor payroll regulation changes and implement required changes in coordination with legal and third-party providers.
• Lead payroll team, including hiring, assigning work, evaluating performance and recognition.
• Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee payroll-related projects and system changes, including testing and implementation.
