Salsa is seeking a Payroll Support expert to assist clients across the US payroll landscape, including Canada. The role focuses on expert-level support, education, and knowledge base creation, with close collaboration with product and engineering teams.

You will drive customer experience improvements, deliver live trainings, and ensure scalable payroll processes while supporting partners and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of US payroll provider experience in a support role.
• Customer-facing payroll support experience required.
• Excellent writing and communication skills to explain payroll clearly.
• Experience with AI tools (GPT, Claude) for insights/materials.
• Data-driven with advanced Excel/Sheets formulas.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level day-to-day payroll support and diagnose complex payroll issues.
• Own partner relationships and provide proactive education and support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure knowledge and enablement across partner teams.
• Be the product payroll expert and advise on tax and product matters.
• Lead training sessions or webinars and mentor partner teams.
