Job summary

Salsa is seeking a probationary expert in payroll onboarding to guide partners from initial setup through first payroll. You will work hands-on with employers, build scalable training, and educate partner teams on onboarding best practices.

As the role evolves, you’ll refine playbooks and collaborate with migration and product teams to automate improvements. Ideal candidates bring multi-state payroll knowledge, strong training design skills, and a passion for teaching others to execute accurate

Qualifications

5–7 years in payroll operations or onboarding, including 2–3 years training, coaching or educating others in payroll operations.
Experience creating training materials and building training programs from scratch.
Experience educating people new to payroll, simplifying complex payroll concepts.

Responsibilities

Hands-on employer onboarding from setup to first payroll.
Design and deliver training programs for partner onboarding teams.
Improve onboarding guidance and playbooks based on learnings across partners and employers.
Train partner onboarding and support teams and coach them through live rollouts.
Coordinate with migration and product teams to ensure accurate configuration and data migration.
