National Indemnity Company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing and balancing for multiple entities. You will handle garnishments, ERSP contributions, and benefits funding while ensuring ERISA compliance and accurate tax withholding.

The role requires collaboration with Finance and HR to maintain accurate records and timely payroll funding. The ideal candidate has a CPP-APA preferred, 2+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of Workday HCM and payroll laws.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years work experience.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)-APA preferred.
• Basic math through Algebra.
• Workday Human Capital Management or equivalent.
• Personal computer and related software such as spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
• Payroll wage and tax laws

Responsabilidades

• Payroll processing and balancing for multiple companies; bi-weekly and special payrolls.
• Payroll funding and reconciling, including wire transfers and tax data handling.
• Garnishments: entering and updating in Workday; communicating with affiliates.
• ERSP contributions, deductions, and compliance with ERISA deposits.
• Benefits funding, earnings adjustments, and intercompany time allocations.
• Intercompany cost allocations and quarterly earnings updates for finance review.
• Tax setup, deposits, and employment tax withholdings compliance.
• Workday Subject Matter Expert for payroll processing and garnishments.
• Supplemental Compensation data for officers and highly-compensated employees.
• Backup support for payroll team responsibilities.
