Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement and requires experience with Workday Payroll and ADP.

The ideal candidate will review timecards, coordinate with HR, and ensure timely payroll cycles while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience including an understanding of multi-state payroll.
• Proficiency with Excel and experience with Workday Payroll.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reviews timecard data prior to payroll submission, investigates root cause of errors, and ensures accuracy of the data.
• Works with other members on the HR team to ensure a smooth payroll cycle and timely transactions.
• Works with third party payroll provider, ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., taxes, payment upon terminations, deductions, etc.).
• Compiles periodic reports for payroll, worker’s compensation, and special management requests.
• Interacts and communicates at all levels of the Company.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and record.
