Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist for a long-term contract. The role focuses on in-house, high-volume payroll processing with union payroll experience essential. Candidates should excel in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with advanced V-lookups and pivot tables.

Viewpoint or UKG experience is preferred, and CPP certification is a plus. Willingness to work overtime and communicate clearly in writing and speaking is expected.

Qualifications

• In-house payroll expertise is required with union payroll experience.
• End-to-end payroll processing experience in high-volume environments.
• Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables are preferred.
• Experience with Viewpoint and/or UKG payroll systems.
• CPP certification is a plus for the role.

Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist with a passion for payroll processing and top-notch communication skills AND ready to work ASAP? This Payroll Specialist would be working on a long term contract basis with a great client of ours who is also going through a system implementation. They are looking to get someone started ASAP with a short interview process.

The ideal candidate will have:

• In-house payroll expertise - union payroll is a MUST!
• A thorough understanding of end-to-end payroll processing - HIGH VOLUME.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio), with advanced skills in v-lookups and pivot tables preferred.
• Experience with Viewpoint and/or UKG.
• Got a CPP certification? That's even better!
• Flexibility to roll up your sleeves and work overtime when needed.
• We're looking for someone who communicates confidently, both in writing and verbally.
