Job summary

Top Tier Resources is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our fast-growing corporate office in Chicago. You will process payroll in UKG and support weekly and biweekly cycles for a diverse employee base, ensuring accuracy and timely payroll delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, and advanced Excel skills. You will communicate with employees by phone and email to resolve questions and ensure top-tier service.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of payroll experience.
• Proficiency with UKG (UltiPro).
• Experience with a multi-state payroll.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll, tax activities and reporting utilizing UKG.
• Working nationally in payroll processing, audit, and reporting activities for weekly and biweekly payrolls for all levels of employees.
• Strong communicator by phone and email answering questions from employees and providing a high quality of customer service and resolves employee issues.
• Familiar with federal and state regulatory requirements offering support in resolving tax, withholding, and garnishments.
• Calculates and sets up garnishments, levies, and family court orders in UKG.
