Qualifications

• 1 year of recent payroll experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state garnishment and levies.
• Knowledge of state and local taxes.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and UKG reporting.
• Computer skills with spreadsheets and databases.
• Payroll policies and procedures for multiple states and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll paperwork (W-4, deductions, direct deposit, 401K changes, local taxes, garnishments) in a timely manner.
• Upload and verify payroll file for processing into the UKG system.
• Process bi-weekly payroll file and balance payroll spreadsheets.
• Serve as liaison to HR and UKG on payroll issues.
• Research and resolve payroll issues.
• Prepare manual check requests for pay cards.
• Prepare monthly/bi-weekly/annual payroll reports.
