Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior payroll or HR administrative experience preferred; hands-on payroll processing experience strongly preferred.
• ADP experience is a plus.
• Multistate payroll experience beneficial but not required for candidates with a solid payroll foundation and a willingness to learn.
• Ability and willingness to learn payroll taxes, garnishments, and related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll across multiple states using ADP.
• Collect, download, and enter timesheets, incentives, bonuses, commissions, compensation changes, and deductions.
• Process monthly sales commissions, incentive payments, special payroll runs, and fiscal year-end bonuses.
• Maintain accurate employee records and payroll information within ADP.
• Download payroll vouchers and assist with related payroll reporting.
• Prepare and distribute reports to Accounting, including general ledger, 401(k), and monthly employee headcount reports.
• Support annual payroll and 401(k) audits by gathering, organizing, and preparing documentation.
• Enter employee insurance and benefits enrollment information into ADP.
• Prepare new-hire paperwork and assist with onboarding, employee setup, and termination processing.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and tracking records for employee census information, vacation balances, and other HR-related data.
• Provide general HR administrative support, including filing, organization, document management, and recordkeeping.
• Assist with international employee payroll and salary configuration matters as needed.
• Provide occasional backup support for reception, switchboard, and mailroom functions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, payroll, and benefits information.
