About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced (Remote) Payroll Specialist to join our team and manage the end-to-end payroll process across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, garnishments, compliance, and reporting—especially within ADP Workforce Now (WFN). This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review bi-weekly/multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
• Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of wages, bonuses, commissions, and other earnings
• Manage and administer wage garnishments, levies, and child support orders in compliance with federal and state laws
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes
• Reconcile payroll reports, benefit deductions, and tax filings
• Generate payroll-related reports for Finance, HR, and leadership teams
• Stay current with payroll laws, regulations, and best practices, especially for multi-state compliance
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide excellent employee support

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required
• Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and garnishment rules
• Experience handling confidential information with integrity and discretion
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
