Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage regular and seasonal payroll for its staff. You will use ADP Workforce Now and MindBody data, ensure timely processing, and maintain strict confidentiality of compensation information.

Working with Human Resources and department managers, you will reconcile payroll data, prepare payroll registers, and resolve discrepancies, with deadlines every Friday or the preceding business day when holidays occur.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience processing payroll for salaried and hourly staff preferred.
• Experience with seasonal or high-volume manual payroll cycles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bi-weekly payroll year-round for regular staff using ADP Workforce Now.
• Email reminders to managers to approve PTO and timecards in ADP.
• Manipulate Excel data from MindBody and import into ADP WFN.
• Incorporate manual adjustments to pay provided by HR.
• Prepare Excel reconciliations between ADP reports and payroll registers.
• Provide payroll registers for executive approval and ensure processing by 2:00 PM on pay date.
• Prepare bi-weekly Medford Camp seasonal payroll using final timesheets and ADP WFN.
• Resolve rate discrepancies and import data into ADP WFN.
• Ensure seasonal payroll is ready by 2:00 PM on the pay date.
