Job summary

Daily Harvest in Allentown, PA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our on-site team, ensuring a precise weekly payroll cycle with zero defects. You will respond to employee inquiries, maintain data integrity, and support audits and year-end processing.

You will collaborate with fellow payroll specialists, train staff on timekeeping systems, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws while handling garnishments, retroactive payments, and third-party interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5 years payroll administration experience or 2 years with an Associate degree in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, multi-state taxation, garnishments, and ADP/Kronos.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Input, review, and audit timekeeping records.
• Train new users on timekeeping system.
• Audit data accuracy for hires, salary actions, terminations.
• Coordinate on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls weekly.
• Support year-end processing including W-2s.
• Handle garnishments and lien documents per law.
• Collaborate with Payroll Specialists to ensure zero-defect payroll.
• Maintain payroll documents for SOX compliance.
