Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage all aspects of the payroll process for the company and its subsidiaries. You will research and resolve pay issues, automate processes for efficiency, ensure regulatory reporting, and handle payroll transmissions, balancing, and interfaces with Accounting and HR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus a minimum of 4 years payroll work experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with Costpoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compute and disburse wages, taxes and other withholdings for companies and multiple states.
• Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for multiple states and locations.
• Review hours worked from time cards, time sheets or electronic media; calculate overtime and shift differentials.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly federal and state tax reports.
• Provide customer service to employees concerning payroll systems.
• Maintain payroll reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
