Job summary

TCWGlobal is seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to own the end-to-end payroll process for our growing team. You will ensure accurate, on-time pay across states and manage complex benefits reconciliations.

Responsibilities include processing bi-weekly payroll with ADP Workforce Now, benefits audits, off-cycle payrolls, timecard reviews for California compliance, and year-end reporting with W-2s and 1095-C.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated payroll experience, specifically managing multi-state payrolls.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now.
• Perform monthly audits of insurance billings and reconcile with payroll deductions.
• Manage off-cycle payrolls, manual checks, voids and adjustments as required.
• Review employee timecards for accuracy, including California meal/rest period compliance.
• Audit benefit deductions and retirement contributions for plan compliance.
• Lead year-end close and distribution of W-2s and 1095-C forms.
• Serve as primary point of contact for questions about paychecks, taxes, and deductions.
• Oversee state and local tax registrations and payroll tax returns with a third-party provider.
