Job summary

Schindler Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage weekly and semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in SAP/Global View. You will handle union and expat pay, payroll-related GL entries, and vendor payments, while maintaining strict confidentiality and strong customer service.

Required: bachelor's in accounting or related field, advanced Excel, multi-state payroll experience, and knowledge of tax laws.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting or related field.
Must have payrolls experience in SAP or Global View.
Knowledge of state, federal, and local tax laws.
Proficient in Excel (advanced formulas) and MS Word/PowerPoint/Outlook.
Payroll experience for a multi-state employer with multiple locations.
Experience with payroll/reporting systems such as ADP Global View, SAP, Concur, and e-Time.
Ability to interface with diverse groups from corporate to operations.
Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
Experience processing Union dues and payouts as needed.

Responsibilities

Process payroll for Union, non-exempt weekly and semi-monthly in Global View to ensure timely payrolls.
Ensure accuracy of payroll records and resolve employee inquiries promptly.
Coordinate Union vacation payout in January and July.
Coordinate Expat/Inpat pay and yearly updates.
Process expenses and remit payments to third-party vendors.
Post general ledger entries at payroll period end.
Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts and generate summaries.
Interface with third-party payroll vendors as needed.
Update employee records and status changes affecting payroll.
