Easterseals MORC is seeking a Payroll Support Specialist in Michigan to manage bi-weekly payroll activities and HRIS systems, including interfacing with MIP Fund Accounting and tax filings. The role involves timekeeping validation, payroll calculations, and timely distribution of payroll with direct deposits.

The position also covers benefits administration, employee leave inquiries, W-2 processing, and year-end reconciliations, working closely with end users and vendors to resolve system

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing and HRIS management.
• Familiarity with UKG and payroll tax filings.
• Ability to verify timesheets and compute payroll accurately.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for bi-weekly payroll activities and HRIS management.
• Verifies timesheets, performs payroll calculations and check writing.
• Ensures payroll checks/direct deposits are correct and timely.
• Oversees labor distributions and GL code changes in HRIS.
• Processes UKG notices and time-off requests bi-weekly.
• Handles benefits like FMLA, disability, and leave questions.
• Coordinates payroll tax filings and new-hire reporting.
• Reviews and issues W2s; year-end reconciliations.
