PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage bi-weekly payroll processing for all employee types and ensure accurate tax reporting and deductions. The role collaborates with HR on compensation, benefits, and onboarding, while maintaining payroll systems and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in business/finance, strong analytical skills, and experience with payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting or Finance major.
• Ability to learn PACE SEMI’s financial system and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Willingness to complete annual in-service training.

Responsabilités

• Process Bi-Weekly payroll for salaried, hourly, and part-time employees.
• Process garnishments, 401K, payroll taxes, and 1095C reporting.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close.
