Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Payroll Specialist to assist the Payroll Manager in processing weekly payroll and maintaining accurate time records. The role supports a national infrastructure-building organization with a strong focus on integrity and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot), experience with payroll software, and a background in accounting or bookkeeping. This position involves handling confidential employee information and may include travel to site

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with Excel, using VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have a good understanding of keeping employee records confidential.
• Two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least six months of experience in payroll preferred.
• Experience with Vista payroll experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile time entries - weekly
• Reconciles weekly regional payroll.
• Research paycheck or direct deposits issues.
• Records and processes Certified Payrolls
• Tracking Apprenticeship certification documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
