Job summary

Treasure Valley Community College is seeking a full-time Payroll Clerk to run the monthly payroll, maintain payroll records, and ensure accurate wage calculations and audits. You will serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries and provide excellent customer service to employees.

The role involves processing payroll data in HRIS, preparing reports such as W-2s and state filings, and staying compliant with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Mandatory degree or two years of related payroll experience.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, recordkeeping, and data accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and enterprise software systems.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for approx. 400 employees with accuracy.
• Enter payroll data into HRIS and verify payroll runs.
• Prepare reports (W-2, W-3, PERS) and balance monthly payrolls.
• Act as primary payroll contact for employee inquiries and issues.
