Responsibilities

• Compiles payroll data including hours worked, commissions, bonuses, and other compensation.
• Calculates and processes payroll deductions including taxes and benefits.
• Updates payroll records for pay changes, promotions, and benefits elections.
• Computes wages and deductions, and posts information to payroll records.
• Processes payroll accurately and on schedule, including direct deposits.
• Audits payroll prior to finalization and resolves discrepancies.
• Maintains PTO, vacation, and leave records.
• Prepares periodic reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, and payroll activity.
• Maintains employment-related documentation including COBRA notices.
• Coordinates insurance forms and payments with the Office Manager.
• Responds to employee payroll questions and resolves discrepancies promptly.
• Maintains confidentiality of compensation, benefits, tax, and personal information.
• Maintains organized payroll records in line with company policies.
• Presents a professional appearance and organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
