Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Silver Spring, MD to handle bi-weekly payroll for US and international staff. You will analyze Workday exports, prepare journal entries, and reconcile payroll accounts while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The role is onsite with training from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential for some in-office/remote flexibility afterward. A CPP/CPP-like credentials are a plus; Associate Degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing for 500+ employees.
• Experience creating and posting journal entries.
• Proficient with Workday, ADP or similar payroll systems.
• Must handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data exports from Workday and verify accuracy.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for US and international staff.
• Prepare and post payroll journal entries and reconciliations.
• Troubleshoot payroll and HRIS issues with the team.
• Ensure timesheets are processed and approved on time.
• Register new state tax jurisdictions and maintain compliance.
• Respond to payroll inquiries within 48 hours.
