Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of payroll related experience.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for 5,000+ employees in a multi-state environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state laws regarding final pay and related payroll requirements.
• Process weekly payroll for a designated small employee population.
• Manage and audit complex employee tax setups, including multi-state and local tax scenarios.
• Administer wage garnishments, including order review, system entry, payment processing, and agency correspondence.
• Support mandatory reporting and preparation of payroll-related filings with federal, state, and local authorities.
• Manage tax-related correspondence with agencies and employees to resolution.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Troubleshoot payroll system issues and manage cases with payroll system vendors through resolution.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from management and employees.
• Communicate process improvement opportunities and global payroll issues to leadership.
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
