Job summary

Snap-on Incorporated is seeking a payroll professional to join their Corporate Payroll team in Kenosha, WI. You will process multiple US payrolls weekly, audit data, and collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing.

The role requires 1–2 years in payroll-administrative work, proficiency with Excel, and experience using payroll software (preferably ADP Enterprise). This is an onsite position at the corporate headquarters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1–2 years of experience in administering payroll or similar accounting area.
• Technical knowledge of the payroll function.
• Experience using a payroll application or software, preferably ADP Enterprise.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Input payroll data for running payrolls using a payroll application.
• Process 5–7 payrolls weekly for multiple US locations.
• Handle garnishments, child support, and tax levies per legal requirements.
• Audit payroll data before processing and finalizing payrolls.
• Collaborate with HR to validate information and ensure accurate processing.
• Enter payroll summary information onto weekly consolidation worksheet.
• Reconcile payroll-clearing accounts for assigned payrolls.
• Create and run monthly and periodic reports for leaders and finance teams.
• Prepare manual checks when needed.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from associates and HR.
