Rehmann is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our growing team in Michigan. You will support a diverse portfolio of clients by delivering accurate payroll processing and helping clients navigate payroll and compliance confidently.

Responsibilities include processing payroll on time, managing reporting, setting up systems, and resolving discrepancies. You will work with time-tracking integrations and benefit plans, delivering exceptional client service daily.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of payroll-related experience.
• Experience supporting multiple clients or working in a service-oriented environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
• Manage payroll reporting and coordinate tax registrations.
• Set up and maintain payroll systems and benefit tracking.
• Verify payroll data and ensure smooth transitions from prior providers.
• Serve as a trusted resource for client payroll questions and inquiries.
• Identify, research, and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal experts to address complex payroll issues.
• Support payroll process improvements and best practices.
• Build strong relationships with clients and vendors.
