Role Overview

Responsible for supporting the operational teams to ensure they are skilled and knowledgeable in meeting our client(s) deadlines, whilst also working with Management to provide the best service to our clients by delivering their functional and technical expertise support for a selection of clients.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support Managers with client engagement ensuring all information is accurate and provided on time
  2. Provide support and guidance for all implementations and go-lives
  3. Provide daily functional support to the teams, to support the successful delivery of payrolls
  4. Responsible for the maintenance of the Client Solution workbook
  5. Responsible for the updating, maintaining and enforcing of the Defined Work Instructions (DWIs) and other process documentation
  6. Ensure and Sign Off System Maintenance Testing
  7. Support the review of the Statement of Works before its sharing with the Client to ensure its fit for purpose
  8. Responsible for the resolution of Technical/Functional issues escalated from the team and ensuring all system issues/defects are reported correctly and tickets are logged with the necessary details and evidences so Application Services and/or Products can investigate
  9. Work with Operational Management, Transformation and Products to implement automation, innovation and continuous improvement programs
  10. Manage the legislation roadmap and ensure the team is upskilled in upcoming changes and processes are updated accordingly
  11. Support Year End processes
  12. Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
  13. Proactively identify upsell opportunities
  14. Support Management with the resolution of client escalations, along with lessons learned
  15. Upskill and develop team members through training and coaching
  16. Complete Time Recording accurately and on time
  17. Participate in team meetings and promptly raise issues to the Operations Manager
  18. Build relationships across business lines where appropriate
  19. Participate in projects and activities as assigned
Required Experience
  1. Strong knowledge of payroll-related inputs and outputs such as third-party interfaces, tax compliance, benefits, etc.
  2. Ability to identify and mitigate risks
  3. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  4. Flexibility to support a global, fast-paced environment
  5. Attention to detail
  6. Excellent communication skills
  7. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  8. Ability to collaborate and work independently following processes and procedures
Education and Training
  1. BA/BS in Business-related field or equivalent experience
  2. 3-4 years relevant payroll experience in HR consulting, outsourcing, or corporate setting
  3. Expertise in payroll processes, practices, and legislation
Desirable Skills
  1. Knowledge of HRIS systems like Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft
  2. Payroll certifications
