Job summary

Insperity in Houston, TX is seeking a Temporary Associate Payroll Specialist I to support payroll processing for assigned clients. You will learn and apply payroll procedures, ensuring data accuracy while coordinating with internal teams to resolve routine issues.

Under close supervision, you will handle employee changes, payroll updates, and basic calculations, contributing to a compliant, efficient payroll operation. This role emphasizes training and gradual responsibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives payroll information from assigned clients and/or Payroll Specialists and provides support.
• Supports specialists with employee changes, payroll information updates, and calculations.
• Upholds the integrity of the client and employee data base and ensures all compliances are met.
• Trains with the National Associate Payroll team, Supervisor and Payroll Trainers to develop skill levels.
• Attends weekly department meetings and reviews procedure manual on a semi-monthly basis.
