Job summary

Insperity, a leading provider of scalable HR solutions, seeks an Associate Payroll Specialist. You will receive payroll data from clients and other specialists, input changes, and help ensure payroll accuracy in a high-volume environment.

Under supervision, you will maintain client and employee records, generate payroll checks and reports, and coordinate with Finance to ensure funds are received. Insperity supports growth through training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive employee paperwork for new hires, changes and terminations.
• Maintain the integrity of the client and employee data base and ensure all compliances are met.
• Process payroll information and produce client payroll checks, invoices and standard payroll reports.
• Ensure accuracy of payroll input and balance input to payroll worksheets and reports.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure funds are received.
• Provide backup documentation to Finance Department for wires.
• Maintain delivery instructions for each payroll in the system.
• Train with the Payroll team, Supervisor and Payroll Trainers to develop skills.
• Establish clear communications with client, employees and team members.
• Consult with Supervisor when responding to new or different questions from clients and employees.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred)
