Stivers Ford Lincoln, Iowa’s #1 Ford Lincoln dealer, is growing and currently hiring a Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team in the payroll function.

The role handles semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried staff, ensures accurate wage calculations, tax withholdings, and compliance with wage laws while supporting audits and reporting needs. Excellent MS Excel and payroll platform experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
• Strong math skills and strict confidentiality with sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Run semi-monthly payroll cycles for hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now.
• Review timesheets, confirm hours worked, and calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
• Manage tax withholdings, benefit contributions, garnishments, and court-ordered payments.
• Answer employee questions regarding paychecks, tax forms, or discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax laws.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare reports for audits and management.
