Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in processing payroll.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review time sheets, PTO requests and other information for accurate time recording.
• Enter employee information into payroll/time-keeping systems.
• Process vacation payout requests.
• Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments; post to records.
• Issue and record pay adjustments for errors or retroactive increases.
• Enter direct deposit information in HRIS.
• Enter tax updates in HRIS.
• Process final pay using manual checks and Pay Card per state guidelines.
• Handle garnishments with third-party vendor processing.
• Prepare and send Medical Support Orders as required by agencies.
• File payroll records for each pay period.
• Provide time-keeping support and training to end-users.
• Prepare and review payroll reports to ensure accurate payments.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll records and comply with laws.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and outside entities.
• Stay updated on federal/state payroll laws affecting payroll administration.
• Perform duties per Sprouts policies; take on additional tasks as assigned.
