Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive payroll and accounting experience.
• In-depth understanding of federal, multi-state, and local payroll tax principles; familiarity with Davis-Bacon and state prevailing wage requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) with strong 10-key by touch, fast data entry skills, and numerical accuracy.
• High analytical aptitude, strong time management, prioritizing skills, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside within driving distance of Canby, OR or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Audit weekly timesheets and process multi-state, multi-union payroll runs.
• Apply CBAs and prepare monthly union reporting packages.
• Prepare and remit payroll taxes weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Provide responsive payroll support to employees, project management, and external agencies.
