Job summary

ATG-Entertainment is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join the North American Payroll team in San Antonio. You will handle weekly full-cycle payroll for salaried, hourly, and union staff, focusing on California compliance and multi-state operations using UKG.

The role requires in-office presence at least four days per week and close collaboration with the Payroll Director. The ideal candidate has payroll experience, proficiency with HRIS/HCM systems such as UKG, ADP, or Ceridian, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience required.
• Experience with UKG or similar HCM systems preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate weekly full-cycle payroll for salaried, hourly, and union employees using UKG.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and processing issues.
• Process off-cycle payroll, including manual checks for terminations, bonuses, retro pay, and adjustments.
• Review timecard data and ensure compliance with state, local, union, and department rules.
• Maintain electronic payroll files and respond to employee payroll questions.
• Assist with W-2s and 1095-Cs and cross-train staff in payroll functions.
• Support union reporting, CBAs, and related health/pension contributions.
• Assist with union audits and prepare weekly union benefit reports.
