Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of payroll processing experience and general bookkeeping experience.
• Preference to in-house payroll experience.
• Knowledge of payroll related regulatory standards.
• Basic accounting knowledge of balance sheet, profit loss, chart of accounts.
• Excellent problem resolution with strong attention to detail.
• Organizational and planning skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, reach and lift to 20 pounds, walking or standing to a significant degree.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in serving the needs of others and a positive attitude toward the community, co-workers, and individuals we serve

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees.
• Maintain automated time and attendance and payroll records.
• Review and verify data accuracy and source documents to ensure timely and accurate timesheet submissions, maintain source documentation.
• Monitor and resolve employee payroll questions in a confidential manner.
• Assist with federal and state filing requirements including W-2s and 1099s.
• Identify and suggest process improvement changes to enhance the overall payroll process.
• Process Accounts Payable.
• Process Accounts Receivable and cash receipts and monitor aging.
• Assist with other projects and duties as assigned in the normal course of business.
• Assist with the external financial audit.
• CARF: Ensures documentation and compliance with CARF Standards.
• Safety: Maintains applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility.
• Outcome Driven: Have S.M.A.R.T objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community.
• Stakeholder Focused: Work with integrity and provide exemplary customer services to internal and external stakeholders.
